Scouting and guiding have been an active and respected part of Swedish society for more than a hundred years. Every third person of Sweden’s nine million citizens is or has been a scout or guide at some part of their life.
Outdoor life and other activities are methods used to reach the common goal of the Swedish Scout movement: to give young people the tools and opportunities to grow socially, intellectually, spiritually and physically. The Scout uniform help to create a sense of belonging and plays a big part of being a Scout.
The cooperation between ATC and the Swedish scouts goes all the way back to 2006 and is rather unique. Together we have developed and improved the traditional scout uniform in to what it is today. The new shirts, polos, scarves and t-shirts are made from organic, Gots-certified cotton, by a traceable chain of fairtrade factories. In addition to the traditional dress, there are now a variety of scouting garments and accessories available, all produced in a sustainable manner.
